About Me

What’s good, y’all? My name’s Kaliyah, AKA cloudycoma!I’m a Guinean-Korean, 20-year-old math teacher and college student who’s studying to become a developer for games, bots, and websites.Of course, I create art on the side, specializing in a cartoony artstyle. I've been leaning more towards bolder lines recently, and focusing more on making my art look more dynamic and less cute, per se.I'm a Korean speaker, but I'm also fluent in English, Swahili, and Guinean-French. I can also communicate quite well in Spanish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. I'm currently studying more languages as well. My goal? I'd like to be fluent in at least 10 languages by time I'm 25.Other than being a HUGE fan of Pokémon, I'm also a massive fan of Mario(ESPECIALLY the Mario & Luigi RPG series), Sonic the Hedgehog, and Billie Bust Up.I'd like to one day have a family. But obviously a little bit further into the future and when I'm financially able to do so. Every bit of support always helps me get one step closer to my goal. Thank you all very much for those who choose to support me.

Q&A

LAst Updated August 15th, 2025

Welcome to my Q&A page! Here, I'll answer any questions you may have for me regarding my art or anything commission-related!

What tools do you use?

For my digital art, I mainly use ibisPaint (Full Version) and Procreate on an 8th generation iPad(A2270 Model) with a 1st generation Apple pencil. For my traditional artpieces, I use a 10.8"x8.3" Mix-Media Ohuhu sketchbook with the 320 Ohuhu Marker bundle(Oahu series), Ohuhu fineliners (colored set and all black), as well as Kalour 120 Colored Pencils and Sakura Gelly Roll pens.

Why do you hate drawing Eevee/Zorua/Vulpix?

Saying I “hate” them is totally an exaggerated joke! The truth is, I like variety in my work, and it can get a little exhausting when I’m only asked to draw the same few species over and over. I’m a Pokémon artist, which means I’m open to drawing everything in the Pokémon world—not just the same 3–4 Pokémon. I usually jump at the opportunity to draw anything that isn't in the popular category, as I excel in drawing the weirder Pokémon.

Why don’t you take difficult designs?

My art style naturally pairs better with certain designs—specifically ones that have a balanced color palette and aren’t overloaded with tiny, complicated details. When a character has way too many clashing colors, patterns on top of patterns, or accessories everywhere, it can make the piece feel messy and take away from the overall composition. I like my work to look clean, cohesive, and visually appealing. This doesn’t mean your OC has to be “plain”—I love unique features and fun color choices! But if your design is overly busy or visually overwhelming, I might ask for simpler OCs or decline the request altogether. This helps me make sure every commission I take on fits my style and allows me to give you the best final result possible.

Can I use your art as my profile picture, banner, etc.?

Absolutely! As long as the piece isn’t my personal OC or a commissioned piece belonging to someone else, you’re free to use it.

May I reupload your art to e621, Pinterest, Danbooru, Inkbunny, etc.?

No. Please don’t reupload my work to those sites or similar platforms.

Am I allowed to post my commission?

Yes, of course! Just please make sure to credit me when you do.

What else do you draw besides Pokémon?

I also draw human characters, Sonic characters, and Mario characters! If you have something else in mind, just ask—I can be picky about what I take on.

Why didn’t you answer my commission request?

I most likely haven't seen it yet. Please be patient. However, if you sent it via Twitter DMs, I probably never saw it as I don’t check them. Please reach out to me on Ko-Fi, Bluesky, or Discord instead.

Can I ask about updates for my commission?

Totally! I usually give updates at the sketch, lineart, coloring, and final product stages. Sometimes I’ll even throw in little sneak peek screenshots in between.

Do you take requests?

Absolutely not. I do not take art requests under any circumstances. Do not ask me to draw something for you for free.

Things I Draw/Don't Draw

This part is important. Please read it thouroughly.

Things I Draw:

> Pokémon—my specialty! I especially excel in drawing stranger Pokémon! I usually strike for drawing reptilian, amphibious, avian, and draconian Pokémon. I can draw feral, bipedal, amorphous... you name it!> Humans—all skin tones, ethnicities, and nationalities are welcome.> Younger characters/kids—I love drawing cute, wholesome child characters.> Elderly characters—I'd love to draw a couple of grandparents!> Mario OCs and Sonic OCs.> A variety of body types—muscular, chubby, lean, and everything in between.> LGBTQ+ characters and couples—always welcome and celebrated.

Maybe, Ask First:

> Furries—depends on species, complexity, and how the design fits my style.> Zorua, Vulpix, Eevee—I’m selective here since I get many requests for them, but I may take it on if the design is unique.> Yumeship art—art of you × a fictional character is possible if it fits my style and boundaries.

Things I WILL NOT Draw:

> Femboy characters, especially if it involves feral characters in suggestive clothing (e.g., striped thigh-highs).> Tacky OCs—designs with clashing colors, way too many accessories, or chaotic patterns that don’t work well together.> Body horror—anything intentionally grotesque or disturbing.> NSFW of any kind.> “SFW” fetish art—includes ABDL, transformation (TF), inflation, vore, and similar.> Gore—light scratches or scrapes are fine if it’s relevant to the character, but no explicit or graphic injury.> Hate art—anything targeting a group or individual with the intent to harm.> Proship content—anything involving loli, shota, or zoo themes.> Generic “loafing, looking cute, or basic sitting” poses—I prefer drawing more dynamic, interesting, or personality-driven poses.
